Ingredients

Serves 6

  • rice flour 1 cups

  • moongdal 2 tsp

  • water 1 cups

  • chilly powder 2 tsp

  • salt 1/2 tsp

  • asafoetida 1/4 tsp

Directions

    Wash and soak moong dal for half an hour.

    Heat water in a pan.

  • 03

    Add the soaked dal and cook it for sometime. Now add salt, asafoetida and chilly powder to it. Add the rice flour to it and mix it.

    Mix and knead it to a dough.

  • 05

    Take small balls of the dough, make them into the shape of ring , prepare around seven to eight of them.

    Heat oil in a pan.

  • 07

    Put the shaped ones to it.

    Deep fry on moderate heat until golden in colour.

    Repeat for the rest of the dough.

  • 10

    Once it is cool, store in a container.
