In a pan, heat oil and add asafoetida.
Then add the garlic mince.
Saute it for a minute.
Then add the red chilli powder and the thawed potato fingers.
Add salt and mix it up well.
Cover and simmer on low heat for 6 to 8 minutes.
Squeeze some lemon juice and sprinkle chat masala after 8 minutes.
Garnish with chopped spring onions before serving.
Serve hot as an appetizer or an evening snack at tea-time. This is my own innovative recipe and if desired you can use fresh potato fingers but the cooking time will increase accordingly. Happy Frying !!!!!!!
