Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Potato,large 3 nos

  • Oil 3 tbsp

  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp

  • Urad dal 1 tbsp

  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp

  • Dry red chilly,broken 2 nos

  • Curry leaves 2 sprig

  • Garlic cloves chopped 4 nos

  • Onion,Large chopped 1 nos

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • Chilly powder 2 tsp

  • Udupi ruchi garam masala powder 1 tsp

  • Gram flour 2-3 tsp

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Directions

    Heat oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds, urad dal, fennel, dry chilly, curry leaves and let it sizzle.

    Add the chopped garlic and saute for a min. 

  • 03

    Add the chopped onions and saute till onion turns soft about 2 mins. 

  • 04

    Add the boiled potatoes and with your spatula break the potatoes into small pieces and partly mashed it.

    Add salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder, mix well and saute for a min or two. 

  • 06

    Add in garam masala powder, gram flour, mix well and saute for about for 5 mins.

    Add chopped coriander leaves, give a quick stir and take off the heat.
