Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 3 nos potato,large


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 tbsp urad dal


  • 1 tsp fennel seeds


  • 2 nos dry red chilly,broken


  • 2 sprig curry leaves


  • 4 nos garlic cloves chopped


  • 1 nos onion,large chopped


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 2 tsp chilly powder


  • 1 tsp udupi ruchi garam masala powder


  • 2-3 tsp gram flour


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds, urad dal, fennel, dry chilly, curry leaves and let it sizzle. 
  • Add the chopped garlic and saute for a min. 
  • Add the chopped onions and saute till onion turns soft about 2 mins. 
  • Add the boiled potatoes and with your spatula break the potatoes into small pieces and partly mashed it. 
  • Add salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder, mix well and saute for a min or two. 
  • Add in garam masala powder, gram flour, mix well and saute for about for 5 mins. 
  • Add chopped coriander leaves, give a quick stir and take off the heat.
