  • 500 gms potatoes(boiled and mashed)

  • 1 cups fresh green peas (boiled)

  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

  • 2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1.5 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp udupi ruchi chat masala

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tbsp salt( to taste)

  • 1/2 cups for coating :white flour

  • 2 tbsp corn flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 cups broken vermicelli

  • 1 cups oil for frying

  • 1 tbsp fried peas for serving

  • 1 cups fried paneer dices


  • Mix mashed potatoes and peas together
  • Add all the spices and salt
  • Mix well and make small equal sized balls from the mixture
  • Around 10 to 12 balls Will be ready
  • In another bowl add white flour, salt, water and make a semi thick batter
  • In a flat plate spread the broken vermicelli and keep ready
  • Now gently press the balls to make it flat and with the thumb give an impression in the centre of the ball
  • Dip the patty in the flour mixture and roll them in the vermicelli from all the sides
  • Let them rest for 15 minutes in the refrigerator
  • Meanwhile heat the oil
  • Deep fry the pattie on low flame till golden brown
  • Serving suggestion sprinkle chat masala on top ot the nest
  • Place some fried green peas and paneer dices to make it more presentable.
