Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Cooked rice 3 cups

  • Curd 2.5 cups

  • Oil 2 tbsp

  • Curry leaves 8 nos

  • Mustard seed 1/2 tbsp

  • Hing 1 pinch

  • Chopped Ginger and green chillies 1 tbsp

  • Urad dal 1 tbsp

  • Pomegranate 1 cups

Directions

    Take cooled rice in a bowl , mashed it a little bit with a spoon, now add curd mix it. Add salt and mix it again. Keep it aside.

    For tempering- in medium heat put a pan and add oil, when it become little hot add mustard seed & urad dal when it start spluttering add curry leaves and hing, cook it few seconds then add chopped Green chillies and ginger cook for few seconds and put it of flame.

    Mix the tempering in the mixture of curd rice. Mix it well then add pomegranate and mix it again. It can be served like this or even can be chilled of 1/2 hour.
