Ingredients

  • washed and chopped fenugreek leaves 1/4 cups

  • whole wheat flour 1 cups

  • salt 1/2 tsp

  • red chilli powder 1/2 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1 tsp

  • water to make soft dough 1 cups

  • eggless mayonnaise and sandwich spread 1/2 cups

  • green chuteny 1 cups

  • Temptas tomato sauce 1 cups

  • slices of tomatoes and cucumbers 1 cups

  • grated processed cheese,cubes 3-4 nos

  • chat masala and naylon sev, optional 1 tsp

Directions

    First mix all the ingredients of thepla in medium sized bowl and make a soft dough using water.

    Rest it for 15 mins.Now devide it into 8 equal portions.

    Roll two portions and saute them on both the sides by applying oil.Prepare other theplas using same method.

    How to make theplas sandwiches:

    Take one thepla, apply mayonnaise, sandwich spread and green chuteny on it.

    Place tomato and cucumber slices on it.Top it with grated cheese and chaat masala.

    Now take one more thepla and apply tomato sauce on it, and place it on first thepla to make sandwich.

    on nonstick pan, apply butter and grill this sandwich on both the sides.

    Your thepla sandwich is ready, serve it hot immediately with sauce and green chuteny.
