Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups dosa batter {2days old}


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 2 tbsp rava


  • 1 tbsp rice flour


  • 3 tbsp chopped onion


  • 1 tbsp chopped green chili


  • 1 tbsp chopped curry leaves


  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp zeera


  • 1/2 tsp baking soda


  • 1 cups peanut


  • 2 1/2 cups oil


  • 3 nos red chilli


  • 1 tsp zeera


  • 1 tsp mustard


  • 1 tsp urad dal


  • 1 tsp chana dal


  • 3 garlic pods


  • 1 nos onion,small sliced


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1/4 tsp hing


  • 3-4 nos curry leaves

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan for deep frying
  • In a mixing bowl mix batter, rava, rice flour, salt, zeera, chopped onion, green chili, curry leaves and coriander leaves, baking soda and mix properly.
  • If it is too dry add bit water.
  • Now put this prepared batter as a droplet in the hot oil and fry up to golden brown.
  • Bring out to a tissue paper
  • For peanut chutney- heat oil in a pan. Add cumin and mustard to it and let it crackle
  • Then add chana dal and urad dal and fry again
  • Then add red chilli and garlic and saute again
  • Then add onion and saute
  • Then add peanuts and fry for 4 to 6 mins. Then switch off the gas and allow to cool down.
  • Then grind the peanuts along with salt.
  • For tempering- heat 1/2tsp of oil and cumin and mustard anf
  • Pour it on the chutney and mix.
  • Serve punugulu with peanut chutney
