Ingredients

Serves 2

  • soya chunks 1 cups

  • whole wheat bread slices 5 nos

  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  • red chilli powder 1 tsp

  • Udupi Ruchi garam masala 1/2 tsp

  • salt 1 tsp

  • crushed pepper 1/4 tsp

  • water to make tikki 1/4 cups

  • Other ingredients: Oil 4 tbsp

  • corn flour slurry 1 cups

  • fresh bread crumbs 1 cups

Directions

    In a medium sized mixing bowl, add all the ingredients of tikkis and mix it well with adding water to make tight dough.

    Divide the dough into small equal portions. Now using your palms, shape them into tikkis shape.

    Dip them into cornflour slurry and rub into bread crumbs. Prepare others as well.

    Now on big non stick pan sautè them on both the sides using very less oil. Put them on tissue paper to absorb extra oil and garnish with coriander leaves.

    Serve it hot with sweet chuteny.
