Wash rice properly tgen soak in water for 1 hr
Heat a pressure cooker and dry roast mug dal till light brown n fragrant
Now heat 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp mustard oil in a pressure cooker..add cumin seeds , bay leaves and whole spice
once you get nice aroma add soaked rice and roasted mung dal ..stir continuously for 1-2 minutes..
Then add ginger paste , green chili and all dry spices (except garammasala) salt to taste and sugar ....give a good stir to mix well everything..stir it for 2-3 minutes..
Then add 5-6 cups of water ..give a nice stir. Then close the lid of cooker and wait for 1 whistle then turn off gas
Open lid and add garam masala and green peas....mix well everything...check seasoning.. keep as per your desire consistency..
Offer Bhoger khichuri to the god and goddes then serve khichuri with dollop of ghee
