Ingredients

Serves 5

  • NOVA double toned milk 1 litre

  • sugar 1/2 cups

  • crumbled cottage cheese / paneer 150 gms

  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

  • almonds for garnishing 8-10 nos

  • saffron for garnishing 1/2 tsp

Directions

  • 01

    boil the milk in a heavy pan over medium flame stirring occasionaly until the milk reduces to about one cup

  • 02

    add the paneer, sugar and cardamom powder in the milk and keep stirring till the mixture thickens and form a soft dough consistency

  • 03

    when the mixture becomes soft lump and start leavinh the pan from sides, turn off the flame

  • 04

    pour it over a greased plate

  • 05

    sprinkle saffron and garnish with almonds

  • 06

    let it cool for about one hour
