Ingredients

  • 1 litre nova double toned milk


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 150 gms crumbled cottage cheese / paneer


  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder


  • 8-10 nos almonds for garnishing


  • 1/2 tsp saffron for garnishing

Directions

  • boil the milk in a heavy pan over medium flame stirring occasionaly until the milk reduces to about one cup
  • add the paneer, sugar and cardamom powder in the milk and keep stirring till the mixture thickens and form a soft dough consistency
  • when the mixture becomes soft lump and start leavinh the pan from sides, turn off the flame
  • pour it over a greased plate
  • sprinkle saffron and garnish with almonds
  • let it cool for about one hour
