Ingredients
Serves 4
Gram Flour / Besan 2 cups
Salt 1/4 tsp
Water 1/2 cups
Oil 1/2 cups
Sugar 1 cups
Water 1/2 cups
Directions
In a wide mouth non stick pan,heat the water and add sugar to it
Keep stirring this, until it reaches 1 string consistency
Keep this aside
Mix flour and salt,Add water and make a smooth dough
Adjust water so it does not become sticky
Heat oil in a large frying pan
Fill the mould (with small holes,which batter can flow throug) the dough
Make way to drop sevas directly into the hot oil
Turn over to get both sides done as little brownish
Remove from oil when the color turns light brown
Drain on a kitchen towel and allow to cool
Repeat frying in batches until all the dough is finished
Heat sugar syrup in low flame and quickly add the seva pieces
Stir it well to get it coated with the sugar syrup
Remove from the pan and allow it to cool
Once cooled, store in an air tight container
