Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1 nos medium sized tapioca (about 12 inches in length)


  • 1/2 cups oil for deep frying


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 tbsp water


  • 1/2 tsp chilly powder


  • 1 pinch pepper powder,(optional)

Directions

  • Mix water and salt and make a solution
  • Peel and rinse tapioca
  • Slice thinly using mandolin or knife to remove the outer skin
  • Cut tapioca nicely into long slices
  • Make the sliced pieces into desired shapes like diamond or sqaure
  • Deep fry until golden brown and crisp,while frying sprinkle some salt solution and also a pinch of chilly powder on top of it
  • For extra spiciness you can sprinkle some pepper powder too,this step is optional
  • Drain on paper towels
