Ingredients

Serves 11

  • ginger 1/4 kgs

  • Sugar 1/4 kgs

  • Jaggery 1/4 kgs

  • Butter Paper Pieces 2 nos

  • Water 3 tbsp

Directions

    Take a Pan and add crushed jaggery,sugar,water

  • 02

    Heat on medium flame till sugar and jaggery melts

  • 03

    cut ginger make a paste in the blender

  • 04

    Sieve the sugar/jaggery into the ginger paste and mix well

  • 05

    Keep on high flame and mix well

  • 06

    The mixture will be dark brown in colour

  • 07

    Keep stirring for approximately half hour

  • 08

    The mixture will become reduced and sticky

  • 09

    add butter paper on top and roll with a chapathi roller

  • 10

    cut it into small pieces

  • 11

    and let it cool
