Serves 20

  • Carrot washed peeled and grated 1/2 kgs

  • Khoya 250 gms

  • Sugar 1 cups

  • Cardamom Powder 1/2 tsp

  • Desiccated Coconut 1 1/2 cups

  • Mixed chopped nuts like cahews, almonds and pistachios 1/4 cups

  • Nova ghee + more for greasing the tin. 2 tbsp

  • Nova full cream milk 1 cups

    In a heavy bottomed pan heat milk and add grated carrots. Cook it till all the milk dries up.

    Next add in ghee and sugar and again cook till all the water from sugar is evaporated.

    Now add khoya and again cook till khoya is fully dissolved.

    Now add in dessicated coconut and mix well and cook till if leaves the sides of pan.

    Remove this mixture in greased pan and spread well.

  • 06

    Spread the chopped nuts all over the burfi and let it cool completly.

  • 07

    Chop the burfi in desired shape and serve.
