  • 1/2 kgs carrot washed peeled and grated

  • 250 gms khoya

  • 1 cups sugar

  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1 1/2 cups desiccated coconut

  • 1/4 cups mixed chopped nuts like cahews, almonds and pistachios

  • 2 tbsp nova ghee + more for greasing the tin.

  • 1 cups nova full cream milk


  • In a heavy bottomed pan heat milk and add grated carrots. Cook it till all the milk dries up.
  • Next add in ghee and sugar and again cook till all the water from sugar is evaporated.
  • Now add khoya and again cook till khoya is fully dissolved.
  • Now add in dessicated coconut and mix well and cook till if leaves the sides of pan.
  • Remove this mixture in greased pan and spread well.
  • Spread the chopped nuts all over the burfi and let it cool completly.
  • Chop the burfi in desired shape and serve.
