Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 kgs dry apricots (soaked in enough water overnight or atleast 8-10 hours )


  • 1 cups sugar


  • 1/8 bowls lemon juice


  • 3/4 cups fresh cream,to serve


  • 1/2 cups small almonds that you get from breaking open the seeds ( add them into the dessert and reserve some to garnish )

Directions

  • Cook the soaked apricots on a low to medium flame until they are soft . Then let them cool .
  • Using a strainer , either strain the pulp seperating the seeds or just remove the seeds with your hands and leave the whole spricots as they are . ( This can be made by nicely by squeezing the apricots and reducing them to a soft pulp )
  • Add the sugar and the lemon juice . Cook this further until it reduces to thr desired consistency .
  • Serve it cold with lots of cream .
  • Lemon juice gives it a refreshing and tangy flavour .
