Ingredients

Serves 6

  • Dry apricots (Soaked in enough water overnight or atleast 8-10 hours ) 1 kgs

  • Sugar 1 cups

  • Lemon Juice 1/8 bowls

  • Fresh cream,to serve 3/4 cups

  • small almonds that you get from breaking open the seeds ( add them into the dessert and reserve some to garnish ) 1/2 cups

Directions

    Cook the soaked apricots on a low to medium flame until they are soft . Then let them cool .

    Using a strainer , either strain the pulp seperating the seeds or just remove the seeds with your hands and leave the whole spricots as they are . ( This can be made by nicely by squeezing the apricots and reducing them to a soft pulp )

    Add the sugar and the lemon juice . Cook this further until it reduces to thr desired consistency .

    Serve it cold with lots of cream .

    Lemon juice gives it a refreshing and tangy flavour .
