First of all soak rice for 20 minutes atleast.
Cook it little mushy adding the colour of your choice.
Unlike zarda in which rice is cooked al dente, here it is made little soft.
Now in a pan, heat ghee and add all the whole spices including the cinnamon powder too.
Next, add in the condensed milk along with the cooked rice followed by nuts.
Cream can also be added to enhance the taste further.
As soon as the ghee starts leaving the sides of the pan, switch off the flame.
Shape into laddus and serve these either warm or chilled.
