Heat 1 tbsp oil and stir fry onions,garlic n green chillies.
Take a separate pan and make a runny batter with besan n water including salt,chilly powder,garam masala, asafoetida but check if there's a lump,mix properly.
Now add turmeric to the sauteed vegetables and cook a little.
Add capsicum to this and cook covered for 5 minutes.
Add besan solution to it and keep stiring till it reaches to the thick n sticky consistency.
Grease a tin and pour thick batter over that.
Pat with a spatula to make it a smooth surface.
Cut into pieces and roast these pieces from both sides on tava using little oil.
Serve hot with green chutneys.
