Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Boiled and mashed potatoes,medium sized 2 nos

  • onion 1 nos

  • green peas 1/2 cups

  • Cumin Seeds 1/2 tsp

  • Grated Ginger 1/2 tsp

  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp

  • Red Chili powder 1/2 tsp

  • Curry leaves 1 sprig

  • Amchur Powder 1/2 tsp

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Udupi Ruchi Garam masala 1/2 tsp

  • Oil 1 tbsp

  • Coriander leaves 1 tsp

  • Brown bread slices 2 nos

  • Butter 3 tsp

Directions

    Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start to crackle add curry leaves and ginger

    Next, add onion and saute them. Add the green peas and let it cook for a minute.

    Add turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

    Add coriander leaves, amchur powder and lastly add the mashed potatoes and mix thoroughly.

    Let it cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame and then keep it aside.

    Apply some butter on one slice of bread and spread the aloo bhaji on top and cover with the other slice. Toast the sandwich.

    Enjoy brown bread veg sandwich with ketchup or green chutney.
