Rice flour 4 cups
Roasted urad dal powder 1/2 cups
Roasted Fried Gram Daal Powder 6 tbsp
Hot water or as needed to make soft dough 1/2 cups
Nova Butter 1/4 cups
Jaggery 4 cups
Sugar 2 cups
Dry Ginger Powder 1/2 tsp
Coconut and Cashews 10 piece
Ghee/Clarified Butter 1 tsp
Oil for deep frying 1/2 litre
Make a soft dough by adding enough hot water to rice flour, roastedurad dal powder and roasted fried gram powder. After kneading add butter and knead again to form a soft dough.
Now heat oil and using a sev maker machine squeeze the dough in hot oil.
Fry till golden brown.
Now lightly crush them.
Fry coconut and cashews in ghee/clarified butter.
Now in a thick bottomed pan melt jaggery and powder sugar.
Cook this till it teacher soft ball consistancy.
Switches of the gas and add fried coconut, cashews and dry ginger powder
Now add crushed fried sev.
Mix till it’s well coated.
Store in air tight container and serve as and when required
