Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Daal 150 gms

  • Greenchillies 4 nos

  • Shallots 2-5 nos

  • Oil 3 tbsp

  • Mustard Seeds 1 tsp

  • Crushed Red Chillies 2 tsp

  • Curry Leaves 5-10 nos

  • Water 1 cups

  • Salt 1 tsp

Directions

    Wash well daal. Slit the green chillies and keep aside

  • 02

    Take water in pressure cooker and cook dal along with slitted greenchillies

  • 03

    Cook it for 3 whistles and keep it aside

  • 04

    Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds in it

  • 05

    Add the chopped shallots and saute it well

  • 06

    Add crushed red chillies and desired amount of salt.

  • 07

    Drop the washed curry leaves to it

  • 08

    Now add the cooked dal to the mix and bring to boil

  • 09

    Serve Hot
