Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 150 gms daal


  • 4 nos greenchillies


  • 2-5 nos shallots


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 2 tsp crushed red chillies


  • 5-10 nos curry leaves


  • 1 cups water


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Wash well daal. Slit the green chillies and keep aside
  • Take water in pressure cooker and cook dal along with slitted greenchillies
  • Cook it for 3 whistles and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds in it
  • Add the chopped shallots and saute it well
  • Add crushed red chillies and desired amount of salt.
  • Drop the washed curry leaves to it
  • Now add the cooked dal to the mix and bring to boil
  • Serve Hot
