Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 1 cups wheat flour1


  • 1/2 cups all purpose flour


  • 3 tbsp cream


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 4 tbsp clarified butter


  • 1 cups water,to knead


  • 1 cups bengal gram skinned


  • 1 cups grated jaggery


  • 2 cups water


  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Directions

  • Knead the dough by mixing both the flours water and ghed.
  • The dough should neither be soft nor too hard.
  • Pressure the dal till soft.
  • Remove the extra water and add in jaggery and mix well.
  • Cook the dal and jaggery till it starts to leave the sides of the pan or the laddle used to stir the mix can stand upright without any support.
  • Add in cardamon powder, mix and switch of the gas
  • Let this mix cool and then fill it inside pinched balls of dough.
  • Roll this dough into flat bread and cook in hot griddle till done from both sides.
  • Drizzle ghee on both side and serve hot with milk.
