Serves 4 serving

  • Veg Oil1 Tablespoon

  • Mustard Seeds (Optional) 1/2 Teaspoon

  • Cumin seeds1 Teaspoon

  • Slice Onion1/2

  • ginger 1 Tablespoon

  • garlic 2 Cloves

  • Black Pepper1/2 Teaspoon

  • Quinoa. Red or white or mix. 1 Cup

  • Boiling Hot Water or Veg or Chicken Broth2 Cups

  • Mix veg.. peas/carrots/green beans1 Cup

    Heat oil. Add Cumin and Mustard Seeds. Add Onions and cook 3 mts. Add Ginger and Garlic cook 1 minute. At this point Get your Boiling Water or Broth ready.

    Add Quinoa and toast a couple of minutes and add Liquid (water of broth) If using chicken broth - dont add salt otherwise add 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bring to boil and simmer covered for 15 mts. Quinoa will be ready.

    Get a mix vegetables - anything will be ok. Green Beans ,Brocoli, Carrots, Spinich whatever you like. Mix it with Quinoa and serve.
