Soft Wheat Parotta/ Gothambu Parotta/Wheat Lachaa Paratha

  • 2 1/2 bowls atta /wheat flour

  • 1 cups water

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • Add oil, sugar,salt and water in to a bowl and mix
  • Then add flour in small amounts and mix well
  • Finally add full flour and knead well with your hand and make a soft dough
  • Close the dough with a wet kitchen towel and close for 2 hours for best result or minimum 20 minutes
  • After that open the dough make big balls and spread oil on all of them
  • Take one ball each and spread that into thin sheet
  • Then sprinkle flour on both sides
  • Then make pleats and close them as shown in the video and make disc
  • Do the same procedure to all the other balls
  • Then take the first disc and spread into paratha shape
  • Heat tawa and make paratha
  • Enjoy with ur choice of curry
