Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 nos carrot


  • 2 nos potato


  • 12-15 nos beans


  • 1/2 bowls big onion


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 2 cups water


  • 1 pinch salt-to taste


  • 5-6 nos coriander leaves


  • 2 tbsp curd


  • 6 nos cashewnuts


  • 1/4 bowls for the masala paste:big onion


  • 1 piece ginger,small


  • 1 nos garlic clove


  • 1-2 nos green chilli


  • 5-6 nos curry leaves


  • 1 nos cloves


  • 1 nos cinnamon,small


  • 1 nos cardamom


  • 1/4 tsp fennel seeds


  • 4 tbsp grated coconut


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/4 tsp coriander powder

Directions

  • Wash and peel vegetables
  • Cut into small pieces (potato,carrot,beans,tomato) (if u want u can include cauliflower ,green peas etc)
  • In a cooker add all these vegetable along with 1/2 of a big onion (sliced ) and water
  • Cook until done,(one whistle is enough)
  • Let it cool down and open the cooker and set aside
  • Add all ingredients listed in masala paste into a blender and make a very fine paste
  • Add this paste to the cooked vegetable along with salt and allow to boil
  • Stir well until the boiling point
  • Allow to thicken the gravy to a semi medium consistency
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
