Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Big Onion 3 nos

  • Basen powder/ Chickpeas Powder 4 tbsp

  • Rice Flour 1 tbsp

  • Hing 1/4 tsp

  • Fennel powder 2 pinch

  • Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp

  • green chilli 2 nos

  • Curryleaves 2 sprig

  • Ginger,small 1 nos

  • Salt 1 pinch

  • Sugar 2 pinch

  • Oil-for frying 500 ml

Directions

    Peel and clean the onion

  • 02

    Cut them into fine slices

    To that add ginger,green chilli,curry leaves ,and salt Mix well

    Then add chilli powder,asafetida powder and fennel powder

    Mix well,Keep aside for 10 minutes

    Then to that add rice flour and basen flour

    Mix well,finally add sugar and mix

  • 08

    Heat oil in a kadai

  • 09

    Now pour the coated onion in small small part in to the hot oil

    Deep fry them

  • 11

    Remove from the oil and drain

  • 12

    Serve the hot pakoda with chutney or tomato sauce
