EGGLESS BISCUITS/COOKIES WITHOUT OVEN IN IDLI COOKER

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Wheat flour 1 cups

  • Gram flour 1 cups

  • Rava/semolina 1 1 /2 tbsp

  • Salt 1 pinch

  • Powdered sugar 1 cups

  • Ghee/butter 1/4 cups

  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp

  • Water 4 tbsp

Directions

    Mix all the dry ingredients except powdered sugar

    Beat butter/ghee in a bowl,add powdered sugar

    Beat until creamy texture

  • 04

    Mix the dry ingredients to it

  • 05

    Transfer this to a plate

  • 06

    Add water and make a dough

  • 07

    Pinch a small amount from the dough

    Roll it in your hands and just press it

    Make the remaining biscuits

    Place some nuts in it

    Take a pressure cooker or idli cooker

    Add salt to the bottom and place a ring, preheat this for 10mins

    Cover a plate with aluminium foil

    Place biscuits in it

    After that open the cooker and keep a lid

    Place the biscuit plate above this

    Close the lid and cook for about 20mins

    Cookies are ready
