Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 2 tbsp for filling- oil


  • 7 nos garlic flakes


  • 2 nos green chilli


  • 2 nos onion


  • 250 gms cabbage


  • 250 gms carrot


  • 6-8 nos coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1/4 tsp garam masala


  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1 cups for dough- all purpose flour/maida


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 2 cups water

Directions

  • MIX FLOUR,SALT AND OIL AND KNEAD TO A SOFT DOUGH WITH WATER
  • KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 20 MINUTES
  • ADD 2TBSP OF OIL TO A HOT PANADD CHOPPED GARIC AND GREEN CHILLI TO IT
  • SAUTE WELL
  • NOW ADD FINELY CHOPPED ONION
  • SAUTE THIS UNTIL THE ONIONS ARE TRANSPARENT
  • NOW ADD GRATED CARROT AND CABBAGE
  • COOK THIS FOR 5MINUTES
  • ADD SALT,PEPPER,GARAM MASALA AND MIX WELL
  • AT LAST ADD CORIANDER LEAVES AND TURN OFF THE FLAME
  • TAKE SMALL PORTIONS FROM THE DOUGH AND ROLL IT INTO SMALL CHAPPATI
  • PLACE 2 TBSP OF FILLING IN THE MIDDLE OF EACH CHAPPATI
  • PLEAT AND MAKE IT INTO THE SHAPE OF A MOMO
  • DEEP FRY THIS IN HOT OIL UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN IN COLOR
  • FRIED VEGETABLE MOMOS ARE READY
