Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 10 gms soya chunks


  • 2 nos onion


  • 1/4 nos capsicum


  • 5 nos green chilli


  • 1 1/2 tbsp soya sauce


  • 1 1/2 tbsp tomato ketchup


  • 1 tbsp ginger


  • 3/4 tbsp garlic


  • 1 tbsp corn flour


  • 5-6 nos spring onion


  • 2 cups oil for frying


  • 2 tbsp sesame oil


  • 2 tbsp salt


  • 1/2 tbsp vinegar


  • 1/4 tsp sugar


  • 1 1/2 tbsp for marination:soya sauce


  • 1 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce


  • 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder


  • 1 tsp pepper powder


  • 1/2 tsp vinegar


  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour or atta


  • 1 tbsp cornflour


  • 1 cups water


  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

  • Soak soya chunks in hot water for 1/2 an hour
  • Then squeeze all the water from the chucks and again wash,do the same procedure for 2 to 3 times
  • Combine chilli powder ,pepper powder,soya sauce ,cornflour ,atta, salt and water together and mix well
  • Then marinate the chunks with this masala for min 20 minutes
  • Then heat oil and deep fry them
  • At this time heat oil in a non stick pan
  • Add green chilli slits ginger- garlic pieces spring onion white and pinch of salt
  • Saute them for one minute
  • Then add half portion of onion and capsicum
  • Saute till the onion become translucent
  • Now add soya sauce and tomato sauce chilli sauce vinegar and mix well
  • Then add 1 1/2 cup of hot water and sugar
  • ook for few minutes
  • Then add 3 tbsp of corn flour mix take 1 tbsp cornflour and add 1/4 cup of water and mix well
  • Cook this mix until the raw taste of the cornflour goes
  • Check the taste and adjust
  • Add the fried chunks to the sauce and mix well
  • Check the salt and spice
  • Adjust the salt and spice as u needed
  • Finally add rest of the onion capsicum and green chilli and spring onion
  • So the lovely spicy Soya manchurian is ready to be served
  • Serve with fried rice pulav,chapaty etc
