Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 litre buttermilk or curd


  • 1 cups salt- water


  • 3/4 cups for grinding: coconut grated


  • 2 nos garlic


  • 2 nos green chilli


  • 3 nos curry leaves


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 2 tbsp for seasoning :oil


  • 3 nos dry red chilli


  • 1/2 tsp ginger chopped


  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds


  • 2 pinch fenugreek seeds


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 1 pinch chilli powder


  • 1 pinch fengreek powder

Directions

  • Grind everything together to a fine paste
  • In a blender add curd and grind to buttermilk
  • In a kadai add ground coconut mix along with 1/2 glass of water
  • Allow to boil this mix for 5 minutes
  • Then to that add butter milk and add salt
  • No need to boiljust heat for a few minute
  • Then add seasoning and close the kadai for 5 minutes
  • Check the salt and adjust,So the yummy simple pulisseri is ready to serve
