bengal gram or chana dal 1 cups
Jaggery 1.25 cups
Desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
nova ghee 1 tbsp
cashewnuts 6 nos
Wash and soak chana dal for sometime.
Pressure cook it with a teaspoon of ghee.
Let the pressure release by itself. Put it in a pan and cook for sometime.
Add jaggery to it and allow to cook until it blends well.
Add coconut and cardamom powder, mix it and cook for five minutes.
In a small pan, roast the cashews in ghee and put over it.
Add desiccated coconut and cardamom powder, let cook for sometime.
In a small pan, add a little ghee and roast the cashewnuts. Put it over the sweet.
