  • 3 cups puffed rice/pori

  • 1 cups jaggery

  • 1/4 cups water

  • 1 pinch cardamom powder

  • 1 tsp ghee


  • Heat water in a pan,drop jaggery into water
  • When jaggery dissolves completely, switch off the flame and strain it to remove the impurities,This is Jaggery Syrup
  • Add cardamom powder to the jaggery syrup, and heat it again
  • Cook jaggery until it reaches one string consistency
  • Take the pori in a wide vessel and add jaggery syrup to the pori and mix well
  • Apply ghee on palm and make small balls from this mixture
  • Let it cool for sometime and its ready to have
