Roast the semolina and keep it for some time
Wash and peel the beetroot and potatoes
Pressure cook both the beetroot and potatoes together with some salt for 5 whistles
Grate the beetroot and potato in a bowl
Add all the spice powders, green chilly, salt and bread slices
Mix everything well with your hands
Now shape them into round patties or tikkis
Take some roasted semolina in a plate
place each tikki on the semolina and make sure that semolina is evenly coated on all sides of the tikki
In a pan, add 3 teaspoons of oil and fry the tikkis till they are crisp and lightly browned
Place them on a tissue paper to drain excess oil
Tasty Beetroot Tikki is ready
Serve beetroot tikki hot with tomato sauce
