Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 cups rava


  • 1/2 cups rice flour


  • 1/2 cups curd


  • 2 nos onion


  • 6 nos green chilly


  • 1 tsp cumin seed


  • 1/4 cups water


  • 2 sprig curry leaves


  • 2 cups vegetable oil


  • 1 pinch salt to taste

Directions

  • Chop the green chillies and onion well and keep it aside
  • Take a bowl and add rava, rice flour and curd
  • Mix it well and keep aside for 2 hours
  • Now add green chillies, onions, cumin seeds, curry leaves, salt and mix it well
  • Check the batter and add little water if required to bring it to the consistency of vada mix
  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan
  • Make vadas of desired shape and size with batter and deep fry it in oil
  • To remove the excess oil, put vadas on a paper towel
  • Enjoy hot Rava Vada with tomato sauce
