Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Rava 1 cups

  • Rice Flour 1/2 cups

  • Curd 1/2 cups

  • onion 2 nos

  • Green Chilly 6 nos

  • Cumin Seed 1 tsp

  • Water 1/4 cups

  • Curry Leaves 2 sprig

  • Vegetable Oil 2 cups

  • Salt to taste 1 pinch

Directions

    Chop the green chillies and onion well and keep it aside

  • 02

    Take a bowl and add rava, rice flour and curd

  • 03

    Mix it well and keep aside for 2 hours

  • 04

    Now add green chillies, onions, cumin seeds, curry leaves, salt and mix it well

  • 05

    Check the batter and add little water if required to bring it to the consistency of vada mix

  • 06

    Heat vegetable oil in a pan

  • 07

    Make vadas of desired shape and size with batter and deep fry it in oil

  • 08

    To remove the excess oil, put vadas on a paper towel

  • 09

    Enjoy hot Rava Vada with tomato sauce
