Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 200 gms rava / sooji


  • 150 ml milk


  • 50 gms sugar


  • 50 gms ghee


  • 10 nos raisins


  • 20 nos cashew nuts

Directions

  • Heat ghee in a non stick pan and add rava to this and fry for 4 minutes on a medium flame
  • Keep the fried rava separately in a plate
  • Boil milk in a pan
  • Add fried rava into it little by little and stir well for 10 minutes on a low flame
  • When the rava is cooked, then add sugar into it little by little stirring continuously
  • Keep on stirring till the whole mixture starts thickening and starts to leave the edge of the kadai or pan
  • Switch off the flame
  • Heat a pan and add 2 tsp of ghee and fry the raisins and cashew nuts on a medium flame
  • Add fried cashew nuts and raisins into it
  • Tasty Sooji Halwa is ready
