Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Rava / Sooji 200 gms

  • Milk 150 ml

  • Sugar 50 gms

  • Ghee 50 gms

  • Raisins 10 nos

  • Cashew nuts 20 nos

Directions

    Heat ghee in a non stick pan and add rava to this and fry for 4 minutes on a medium flame

  • 02

    Keep the fried rava separately in a plate

  • 03

    Boil milk in a pan

  • 04

    Add fried rava into it little by little and stir well for 10 minutes on a low flame

  • 05

    When the rava is cooked, then add sugar into it little by little stirring continuously

  • 06

    Keep on stirring till the whole mixture starts thickening and starts to leave the edge of the kadai or pan

  • 07

    Switch off the flame

  • 08

    Heat a pan and add 2 tsp of ghee and fry the raisins and cashew nuts on a medium flame

  • 09

    Add fried cashew nuts and raisins into it

  • 10

    Tasty Sooji Halwa is ready
