Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Raw plantain(Bajji Kaya) 2 nos

  • Gram Flour 1/2 cups

  • Maida 1 tbsp

  • Rice flour 1/2 cups

  • Chilly powder 1/2 tsp

  • Asafoetida powder 1/4 tsp

  • Salt to taste 1 pinch

  • Oil for frying 300 ml

  • Water ,required to make batter 1 cups

Directions

    Wash and clean the plantains thoroughly

  • 02

    Peel off the skin and slice the plantain

  • 03

    Mix the Rice Flour, Gram Flour, Maida, Red Chilli Powder, Asafoetida powder and salt with water to make a thick batter

  • 04

    Heat Oil in a pan,Dip each slice into batter and put it into the hot oil

  • 05

    Fry both the sides until it turns golden brown

  • 06

    Serve with hot tea or coffee
