Ingredients

Serves 4

  • corn flour 2 cups

  • grated coconut 1 cups

  • Salt,as required 1 tsp

  • Water, as necessary 1/2 cups

Directions

    Mix yellow corn flour and salt in bowl

  • 02

    add water and mix well without any lumps

  • 03

    Repeat sprinkling water & mixing until you get the right consistency

  • 04

    Fill the puttu kudam with water

  • 05

    Close it with the lid and heat it

  • 06

    Once the flour mixture is ready, fill the puttu maker with coconut layer and flour mixture

  • 07

    Layer the puttu maker with some grated coconut first, then the mixture and then the grated coconut again
