Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 kgs koorka


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 5 nos shallots (crushed)


  • 1 cups water


  • 3 tsp coconut oil


  • 1 pinch salt to taste


  • 5 nos crushed dry red chilly


  • 2 sprig curry leaves

Directions

  • Wash and clean the koorka pieces
  • Slice or chop them to desired shapes
  • Cook these pieces along with salt, water and turmeric powder till one whistle
  • Heat coconut oil in a pan, crackle mustard seeds
  • Add crushed shallots, crushed dry red chilly and curry leaves
  • Saute for 2 minutes
  • Now add the cooked koorka and mix well
  • The delicious koorka stir fry is ready
  • Serve as a side dish with rice
