Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1/4 cups milk


  • 1 cups powdered sugar


  • 1 cups almonds,peeled and soaked overnight


  • 1 tsp powdered green cardamom


  • 2 tbsp ghee


  • 1 1/2 cups water


  • 1 pinch saffron

Directions

  • Soak the almonds for 1 night in water
  • Next day,take those almonds out,peel the skin and grind them into a fine paste
  • Use milk for a better consistency
  • Then, put a deep bottomed pan on medium flame and add the almond paste along with one cup powdered sugar,and cook till the mixture browns a bit
  • Saute the mixture in between so that it doesn't stick to the bottom
  • Grease a big plate,spread the mixture over it and cover it with the silver vark
  • Refrigerate the same
  • When done, cut into squares and serve
