Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1/2 cups rava


  • 1/4 cups curd


  • 1 nos green chilli


  • 1/4 tsp urad dal


  • 2 tsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice


  • 5-6 nos curry leaves


  • 1/2 tsp ginger grated


  • 1/2 tsp eno fruit salt


  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds


  • 5 nos cashew nuts


  • 1/4 tsp channa dal


  • 3-4 nos coriander leaves


  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

  • Heat a pan and add the oil ,throw in the mustard seeds,channa dal,urad dhal,cashew nuts, green chilli ,curry leaves ,coriander leaves and ginger to it
  • Fry till the dal turns golden brown
  • Cut the green chilies very finely and grate the ginger
  • Add the rava to this and saute for a minute
  • Add salt,Transfer this to a container and allow this to cool
  • Add curd and water to this and mix well
  • add necessary water to get the idli batter consistency
  • Transfer it immediately to the greased idli moulds
  • Steam for 10 mins
  • Enjoy with any chutney
