Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Capsicum/ Bell pepper(small sized) 2 nos

  • Onion(medium size) 2 nos

  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp

  • Garam masala 1 tsp

  • tomatoes 2 nos

  • ginger 1 inch

  • Chilli powder 1/2 tsp

  • kasuri methi 1 tsp

  • Garlic ,cloves 5-6 nos

  • Oil 2-3 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • salt to taste 1 pinch

Directions

    Dice Capsicum and keep them aside

  • 02

    Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and fry

  • 03

    Then add diced capsicum and fry for a minute or 2

  • 04

    Grind onions, tomatoes, ginger and garlic into fine paste

  • 05

    To this add the ground onion paste, mix well

  • 06

    Then add turmeric powder,garam masala powder,chilli powder and coriander powder,add about 1/4 cup of water and mix well and turn the heat to medium-low,cook till raw smell is gone

    Add water (about 1/2 cup) to get the required consistency,mix well and check the salt and reduce the heat to low,let it simmer for another 6-7 minutes

    Then add kasuri methi leaves, mix well and turn off the heat
