Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups onions,chopped


  • 1 kgs tomatoes, blanched and chopped


  • 500 gms sugar or to taste


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp udupi ruchi garam masala


  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste


  • 1 tsp chilli powder


  • 2 tbsp vinegar


  • 1 tsp salt or to taste

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add brown onions and ginger-garlic paste to it and cook until they are brown
  • Add tomatoes, sugar, salt, chilli powder and garam masala and cook to a thick consistency
  • Add vinegar and simmer for about 5 minutes
  • When cool, pack in an airtight clean jar and store
