Ingredients

Serves 4

  • chickpeas, drained and rinsed or boiled chickpeas 1 1/2 cups

  • Salt to taste 1 pinch

  • red chilli powder 2 tsp

  • lemon juice 1 tbsp

  • honey 1 tsp

  • ginger, finely grated 1 tbsp

  • vegetable oil 2 tbsp

Directions

    In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix until the chickpeas are properly coated evenly

    Roast the chickpeas for about 45 minutes, stirring 2-3 times, until the chickpeas are lightly browned and shrivelled

    Spread parchment paper on a baking sheet

  • 04

    Spread out the chickpeas on the parchment paper

  • 05

    Let the roasted chickpeas cool a bit, and serve them hot, warm, or at room temperature with a hot cup of tea or coffee
