Ingredients

Serves 8

  • Chicken Pieces 1 kgs

  • Chilli Powder 4 tsp

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Chicken Masala Powder 1 1/2 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander Powder 2 tsp

  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

  • Curry Leaves 4 sprig

  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp

  • Onion Sliced 1 nos

  • Coconut Oil 1/4 cups

Directions

    First cut and clean the chicken pieces and keep it aside

    In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients except the coconut oil and onion slices

  • 03

    Marinate the chicken pieces with the above mixture

  • 04

    Add 2 tsp of oil

    Keep it aside for 30 min

    Switch on the stove and place pressure cooker

  • 07

    Cook the chicken pieces in cooker,don t forget remove the cooker whistles the steam will be out through nozzle

    After 2 min take it out from flame

  • 09

    Left over water can be used for making chicken soup, drain it well

  • 10

    In a fry pan add oil,When oil become hot, add the curry leaves and fry for 1 min

  • 11

    Add chicken pieces to the oil and shallow fry it

  • 12

    When one side of chicken becomes crisp and brown, turn on other sides and fry well

  • 13

    Add the sliced onion and saute well

  • 14

    When cooked take it out to kitchen tissue

  • 15

    Repeat the process with remaining pieces

  • 16

    Serve Hot
