  • 1/2 pineapple nice firm and riped

  • 6-7 black grapes

  • Little less than 1/2 cup water

  • 3-4 coconut pieces

  • 3 1/2 tbsp thick curd

  • 1/4tsp mustard seeds

  • 1/4 tsp chili powder

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil

  • Salt as per taste


  • Boil pineapple with little salt till its cooked but little firm.
  • Grind coconut, mustard seeds,little turmeric powder and chili powder into fine paste.
  • Add this to pineapple and grapes and give it a nice stir. Cook for some time.
  • Now add in curd and and switch off the gas right before it starts to boil.
  • Heat coconut oil add curry leaves and mustard seeds and add this over the pulliserry and let it to cool. It tastes better the next day. I usually keep it in fridge and serve it next day
