Ingredients

Serves 5

  • riped mango large sized chopped in bite sized chunks 1 nos

  • thick coconut milk(1 extract of coconut) 1/2 cups

  • second coconut milk 1 cups

  • raw rice soaked and then grinded into fine paste. 2 tsp

  • ghee 3 tbsp

  • sugar powdered with 3 cardamom 200 gms

Directions

    First in a fry pan add 1 tbsp ghee and lightly fry nuts and set them aside. In the same pan add remaining ghee and add chopped mangoes and fry them till they are soft.

    Switch off the flame.

    In a heavy bottomed vessel add 1 glass of second coconut milk and mix in the raw rice paste. Cook this till it forms a thick paste.

    Now add sugar to the mangoes and again saute them in low heat. It will look like a jam now.

    Slowly add in the thick & cooked raw rice and second milk paste and mix it well. Then add the remaining 2 coconut milk. Mix well let it come to a boil.

    Now add first extract of coconut milk and warm it a little and switch off the gas. Add in fried nuts just before serving. Serve when it's still warm
