Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups wheat rawa


  • 1/2 cups thuvar dhal


  • 1 tbsp urad dhal


  • 2 tbsp green gram dhal


  • 2 tbsp bengal gram dhal


  • 4 nos red chillies


  • 1/2 tsp asafotida powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 nos onion


  • 5-6 nos curry leaves


  • 250 ml gingelly oil

Directions

  • Soak all the dhals in water for about 2 to 3 hours
  • Soak wheat rawa in enough water (just to cover the rawa) for one hour
  • Wash the soaked dhals and drain the water,Add red chillies, asafetida and salt
  • Grind to a coarse paste,Add the soaked wheat rawa to the dhal paste
  • Chop the onion and curry leaves finely,Add to the batter
  • Add little water if required to make the batter little thicker than dosa batter
  • Heat Dosa Tawa,Grease it
  • Pour a big ladle of batter in the middle of the tawa and spread evenly
  • Pour oil around the corners
  • Cook on medium flame
  • Flip over and cook other side also till it become nice brown
  • Serve with any desired chutney
