Ingredients

Serves 6

  • Garlic pods 100 gms

  • Red Chilli Powder , dry roasted 50 gms

  • Tamarind 50 gms

  • Salt 1/4 tsp

  • Sugar 1 tsp

  • Mustard Oil 100 gms

Directions

    Grind the Garlic pods into a paste

  • 02

    Soak the Tamarind for half an hour and make a paste

  • 03

    Heat oil in a hot wok

  • 04

    Add the Garlic and Tamarind paste and fry in the hot oil

  • 05

    Add the Red Chilli powder

  • 06

    Add the Salt and Sugar when the garlic is fried

  • 07

    Stir it continuously in slow flame till the oil separates out

  • 08

    Cool and put the mixture in an air-tight container
