Ingredients

  • lotus stem 1 kgs

  • Mustard Oil 2 cups

  • Red chili pepper 4 tbsp

  • turmeric powder 3 tbsp

  • mustard powder 6 tbsp

  • Salt 1/2 cups

Directions

    Cut the llotus stems into slices.

  • 02

    Boil it until turns soft

  • 03

    Drain the boiled lotus stem through the strainer

  • 04

    In a bowl, mix the salt and spices very well and rub thoroughly over the pieces of lotus stem

  • 05

    pour mustard oil in pickle

  • 06

    Put a tight lid over the jar for 3 days till the pickle is ready
