Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 1pineapple - cut into small pieces

  • 1 1/4 cup sugar

  • 2cups coconut milk

  • 2Tbsp ghee

  • 50 gm raisins (kishmish) - fried

  • 50 gm cashew nuts - fried

  • 4cardamom (chhoti ilaichi) - powdered

  • 50 gm chironji

Directions

    Boil the pineapple pieces in a thick bottom pan, along with a little water, till tender

  • 02

    Add the ghee and saute till glossy

  • 03

    Add the sugar and cook till it melts

  • 04

    Add the coconut milk and when it comes to a boil, add the chironji and cook till it becomes tender

  • 05

    Add the cashews and raisins

  • 06

    Sprinkle the cardamom powder and mix well

  • 07

    Cover for 2-3 minutes and serve hot
